This, as Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto replied to a netizen on Facebook who commented on his post, telling the netizen to ignore bashers and trolls. He added that the government was trying its best to “save lives”. Sotto also encouraged netizens to help Pasig in order not to worry about trolls.
His reply to a concerned netizen’s comment came after he was criticized for some of his actions in order to help out Pasiguenos, especially its frontliners, during the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine amid COVID-19.
The #ProtectVico has been trending on Twitter Philippines on Thursday as netizens commended Sotto for his aggressive moves in order to help his constituents amid the COVID-19 scare.
