Update on the US Coronavirus Cases Now After It Exceeded 100,000
US CORONAVIRUS CASES – Over 17,000 new cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 were recorded in the United States in just 24 hours.
Unfortunately, thousands of lives were lost due to the 2019 novel coronavirus or officially called as COVID-19. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared it as pandemic.
The impacts of the COVID-19 is beyond what is expected. Several countries are currently facing a huge battle – to curb the spread of the disease which can rapidly infect thousands of people.
The coronavirus first emerged in China. Over 81,000 people in the Chinese community were infected by the disease. The death toll is at 3,300 in China.
Currently, the United States is the nation with the most number of COVID-19 cases. The US coronavirus cases has surpassed China, Italy, and the 100,000 mark.
Based on the global tally of Worldometer, the US coronavirus cases recently increased by 17,382. It brings the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in U.S. to 140,960.
Over 230 new deaths were recorded in the United States due to coronavirus. The death toll now is at 2,457.
Based on the tally, globally, there is now a total of 720,187 COVID-19 cases recorded in the different countries worldwide. The death toll is at 33,903.
Currently, the United States is under a national emergency. U.S. President Donald Trump made the said declaration and unleashed a huge budget for the healthcare system of the country in the fight against coronavirus.
