Coronavirus Case Recorded in Quezon City
QUEZON CITY – There is a confirmed case of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the city according to Mayor Joy Belmonte.
New coronavirus cases were recently recorded in the Philippines bringing the total to ten (10). The first two (2) cases of the disease are Filipinos.
Last Saturday, the wife of the 5th coronavirus patient also tested for the novel coronavirus. The 5th patient is a confirmed case of local transmission according to the Department of Health (DOH).
On Sunday, the DOH confirmed four (4) more cases of the new coronavirus in the Philippines. Two (2) of them are Pinoys, one (1) is a Taiwanese, and the other is an American man.
The DOH previously expressed that all patients are admitted in private hospitals. The health department did not reveal the name of the hospitals where they’re admitted.
Recently, Mayor Joy Belmonte of Quezon City confirmed that there is a case of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the city based on a report of DZBB Super Radyo. No further information yet regarding the 1st case of COVID-19 in QC was disclosed.
