Sen. Go Reveals President Duterte Is Schedule for Coronavirus Testing
PRESIDENT DUTERTE – Senator Christopher “Bong” Go revealed that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte will undergo a test for coronavirus.
Coronavirus is rampant in the Philippines now. In just a few days, the total confirmed coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 49 as of this writing.
Based on the information from the Department of Health (DOH), most of the patients are in Metro Manila. A local transmission was confirmed by the health department in one of the cases – a 62-year-old man with no travel history abroad.
Amid the increasing cases of coronavirus in PH and the “no-touch policy” of the Presidential Secuty Group (PSG), Pres. Duterte is unafraid of the coronavirus. He is not even amenable to the policy set by the PSG.
Meanwhile, to make sure that they are fit for duties, President Duterte together with Sen. Bong Go is set to test for coronavirus. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, it is no other than Sen. Go who confirmed it.
The Senator clarified that he and the President are not showing any symptoms of coronavirus based on the report. They just want to make sure they are fit and healthy to fulfill their duties.
President Duterte and Sen. Go will be tested for coronavirus today. The Presidential trip to Boracay has been reschedule amid the monitoring of the COVID-19 cases in the country.
