Police Official in Laguna Chopper Crash Fights for Life in ICU

POLICE OFFICIAL IN LAGUNA CHOPPER – One of the police officials who figured in a chopper crash accident in Laguna is in critical condition in the ICU now.

A lot of people were left worried yesterday following the helicopter crash in Laguna. The said aircraft was carrying Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Archie Francisco Gamboa and several others.

The incident took place in San Pedro City. The PNP Chief was at the area for the inspection of the impounded vehicles. He will supposedly fly to Calamba City after.

Unexpectedly, after the chopper made a take-off, the aircraft strangled in the power lines and crashed. The passengers were abruptly rescued.

PNP Chief Archie Gamboa and his companions including some police officers were rushed to the hospital. The head of PNP is in a stable condition now.

However, one of the police officers aboard the helicopter is now in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital in Biñan. Police Major General Jose Maria Victor Ramos, the said police official in Laguna chopper crash, is currently in critical condition.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Kevin Manalo said in Umagang Kay Ganda that the police official suffered from facial fractures. His blood pressure is not stable and he is unconscious now. Meanwhile, he got reflexes according to the doctor.

Currently, some police officers and his family are guarding and watching over Ramos in the hospital. The doctor is not recommending the transfer of the patient to another hospital because of his critical condition.

As of this writing, there are still no updates with regards to Ramos’ condition. More updates may follow. Newspapers.ph is hoping for the recovery of the PNP official.
