Pasig Gets ‘Creative’ By Deploying Electric Vehicles

Pasig Gets “Creative” By Deploying Electric Vehicles With The Help Of Global Electric Transport Philippines.

Following Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles’ statement on banning tricycles or motorcycles, Pasig found a way to transport essential staff with the help of Global Electric Transport Philippines.

This, as Global Electric Transport Philippines wanted to help the city by donating two Community Managed Electric Transport (COMET) units to give free rides to essential frontline government personnel and healthcare workers.

These electric vehicles from Global Electric Transport Philippines operated from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Also, Pasig Transport presented the route map, as seen below.

Aside from vehicles, GET Philippines will give a complete service team to the city, including drivers, free of charge.

These vehicles can only transport 10 persons at a time in order to ensure social distancing. Yet, in non-emergency cases, a unit can transport 20 seated passengers and 10 standing passengers.
