Matuidi, Zaccagni Test Positive For Coronavirus

Blaise Matuidi and Mattia Zaccagni have tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

Juventus’s France World Cup winner Blaise Matuidi and Hellas Verona’s Mattia Zaccagni have tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19.

This, as their Serie A clubs confirmed the test results of Matuidi and Zaccagni.

In a statement, Juventus said that Matuidi underwent medical tests that have revealed his positivity to the coronavirus disease or COVID-19, adding that he was asymptomatic and currently “in voluntary home isolation”.

Matuidi had encouraged his fans to “take care” in his post on Instagram.

On the other hand, Hellas Verona said in a statement that Zaccagni had “a few bouts of fever”, adding that he and his team “will extend their voluntary isolation at home until March 25, while continuing to be monitored.”
