Filipino Coronavirus Patients Abroad – List of Countries w/ Pinoy Patients
FILIPINO CORONAVIRUS PATIENTS ABROAD – Some countries abroad have recorded coronavirus patients who are Filipinos and here is a list of these nationans.
Currently, the Philippines got patients who are positive for the 2019 novel coronavirus. The confirmed cases rose to ten (10) after four (4) people recently tested positive for the disease.
Based on the details released about the patients, the 4th and 5th are Filipinos. The 4th patient has a travel history to Japan while the 5th patient has no travel history – a case of local transmission as to the Department of Health (DOH).
The 6th patient of coronavirus in the Philippines is the wife of the 5th confirmed case in the country. Both of them are treated now at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM) in Muntinlupa City.
The four (4) new cases of coronavirus include two (2) Filipinos, a US national, and a Taiwanese. All of them are male and confined now in private hospitals not named by the health department.
Aside from the seven (7) Pinoys in the Philippines who are positive for coronavirus, there are also Filipino coronavirus patients abroad. Based on a post of Manila Bulletin, They are in Hong Kong, Lebanon, Japan, Singapore, and UAE.
According to the report, here is a list of the number of Filipino coronavirus patients abroad and the country they’re in now:
- Hong Kong – 4
- Lebanon – 2
- Japan – 80 (40 patients have already recovered.)
- Singapore – 3
- UAE – 2
Currently, several countries have imposed travel restrictions to curb the spread of coronavirus. It has infected thousands in China, its epicenter, and Italy.
