ITALY CORONAVIRUS DEATHS – There are over 350 recent addition to the coronavirus death toll in Italy.
The 2019 novel coronavirus, officially called as COVID-19, has unexpectedly become a giant global concern. Several countries now are under a lockdown following the outbreak of the disease in these nations.
One of the countries that is currently under a lockdown due to the 2019 novel coronavirus is Italy. Initially, the travel restrictions covered only certain areas but the disease was hard to contain.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte ordered a lockdown in Lombardy and 14 provinces. Lombardy, the northern region in the country, is the epicenter of the virus in Italy.
The number of infected cases and deaths in Italy due to COVID-19 continued to increase even after a partial lockdown. It prompted the Italian Prime Minister to extend the coverage of the travel restrictions to the whole country.
Fighting the 2019 novel coronavirus is undeniably a huge battle. Recently, over 350 cases were added to the Italy coronavirus deaths.
Based on a report on GMA News, there is a total of 386 increase in the Italy coronavirus deaths. It is the biggest rise on the COVID-19 death toll in the country as of this writing.
According to Worldometers, Italy has confirmed 24,747 infected cases and 1,809 coronavirus death cases. The country is next to China, where the disease was first recorded, in terms of coronavirus cases.
The Italian government is securing the health and safety of the medical personnel amid the fight against the virus. Based on the report, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte expressed that they are adding more protective equipment for the frontliners of the battle.
Also, the Prime Minister pledged to help the people and the businesses amid the times of economic struggle in the country. Lombardy is now needing more attention.
