The FDA Philippines posted a list of approved COVID-19 rapid test kits (RTKs) as of Monday, March 30, 2020.
This, as the FDA Philippines on Monday approved five (5) COVID-19 rapid test kits — four (4) RTKs were from China and one (1) from Singapore.
According to the Food and Drug Administration Director General Eric Domingo, the FDA approved RTKs that were already registered and used in countries that have advanced technology and have wide experience with coronavirus disease.
As of this writing, the Food and Drug Administration already approved seventeen (17) PCR-based test kits for commercial use.
