Bus Passenger From Manila Shows Symptoms of Coronavirus During Trip to Manila.
BUS PASSENGER – A commuter showed symptoms of the 2019 novel coronavirus during a trip from Manila to Lucena.
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has ordered to place the whole of Metro Manila under a “community quarantine”. It was amid the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country.
Currently, the government is on implementing measures to curb the spread of the disease in the country. As of this writing, there are 140 confirmed cases of coronavirus in PH.
The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded twelve (12) coronavirus deaths in the country. Several people are now under monitoring due to contact with the COVID-19 patients.
City and municipality governments are strictly monitoring the people going in and out of the areas. Recently, health officials in Lucena responded to a man who showed coronavirus symptoms.
Based on a report of GMA News citing Pewee Bacuño, a male bus passenger who came from Manila showed coronavirus symptoms during a trip to Lucena. The said vehicle came from Taft Avenue terminal.
It was already 10:00 p.m. when the bus arrived in Lucena. Prior to the arrival of the vehicle, the 44-year-old man has already informed his sibling.
Based on the report, the sibling of the 44-year-old bus passenger who showed symptoms of coronavirus told the health officials about him. Upon arrival at the terminal in Lucena, health officials wearing protective equipment boarded the bus.
The said health health officials checked the man and as well as the other passengers of the vehicle. They took the passengers’ body temperatures and have them list their names, addresses, and contact numbers.

Is there a way to clean the air inside a vehicle, that can be built inside a air-conditioned bus for this matter? Also the check point is the road towards this area been checked for loop holes? Are we ensured that all motorists are checked from origin to destination? I am asking if all travelers are checked and cleared of COVID19.
