The Philippine National Police on Tuesday said that the head of the NCRTC was removed from his post due to a drinking session that involved 16 recruits.
This, as PNP chief Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa said that the 16 recruits of the National Capital Region Training Center posted photos of their drinking session inside their dormitory at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig on social media last January 29. He added that he removed NCRTC Director Lt. Col. Nelvin Ricohermoso and 14 other trainers from their posts.
PNP chief Gen. Archie Francisco Gamboa noted that President Rodrigo Duterte didn’t allow policemen to have a drinking session in public places. Gamboa also said that the 16 recruits were barred from taking oath as policemen despite completing the police training.
