President Rodrigo Roa Duterte assigned former Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin as the new chief of Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
This, as Senator Christopher “Bong” Go said that former Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin sworn to President Rodrigo Duterte last week.
Former Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin previously retired as the chief justice of the Supreme Court last October 2019.
On the other hand, Rolando Macasaet previously took over the position of Jesus Clint Aranas as the officer-in-charge of Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) last July 2019. This, after Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo questioned Aranas’ management at GSIS, resulting to have a lack of confidence of the President to Jesus Clint Aranas.
