The partner of Eddie Garcia has no plan of talking with GMA

Lilibeth Romero, the partner of the late legendary actor Eddie Garcia said that she has no plan of talking with GMA network.

It can be recalled that last year, one of the shocking news that broke the hearts of many showbiz fans was the death of the veteran actor due to an accident that happened on the set of now-shelved Kapuso series.

After several months since that happened, Lilibeth admitted that she is still in pain, based on the article from the Bandera. “Hindi naman maiaalis ‘yun, ‘di ba? Kaya lang you have to psyche your mind to think differently. So, ngayon nakatawa ako. Baka ‘pag sakay ko ng kotse, iiyak na ako,” she shared.

Until now, institutions are still giving recognition to Eddie and the one receiving his awards is Lilibeth. “Masayang malungkot. Masaya, dahil may award na naman siya, in life and after death,” Eddie’s wife said. Lilibeth also said that until now, she is missing her partner.

“Well, I have to move forward and I’ve been waiting for the enactment of the HP 181 which will be later, probably named, Eddie Garcia Law. I feel happy for his colleagues in the movie industry because, that’s his legacy and his gift,” she shared.

For Lilibeth, her partner became instrumental in having this act. She is somehow happy that Eddie has left something for his colleague. She added that her partner is indeed passionate about his craft. “No, it’s probably next lang ako sa pagmamahal sa kanyang puso. Unang-una, ang kanyang career. So, I’m happy na may maiiwan siya sa kanyang mga colleague. At saka sa akin na ‘to, itong trophy,” Lilibeth said.

All the recognitions that Eddie Garcia received in his entire life and those given after his death are in the position of Lilibeth Romero. She said that many people are asking to borrow those in Bicol but the awards are too many she can’t carry all of them.

Based on the article, when Lilibeth was asked if she discussed the accident with GMA network, her answer was, “I haven’t talk to GMA, ever. (Pero) Hindi na. Okey na. Hindi ko na mabubuhay si Eddie. So, nandoon na siya. No more miseries.”
