Armani Holds Closed-door Show At Milan Fashion Week In Italy

Giorgio Armani held its show behind closed doors at Milan Fashion Week in Italy.

Following Italy’s announcement, Giorgio Armani on Sunday, February 23, held its Milan Fashion Week show behind closed doors.

This, as Italy imposed lockdown measures in some areas and also announced an increase in COVID-19 cases as the country already has 152 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with three fatalities linked to the 2019 novel coronavirus.

Giorgio Armani said that it would hold its womenswear show in Milan Fashion Week to an empty room as a precaution, adding that the decision was made in order “to safeguard the well-being of all his invited guests by not having them attend crowded spaces.” The said show was aired live on its website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.

Meanwhile, Italian designer Laura Biagiotti canceled her show at Milan Fashion Week, while some attendees wear face masks.
