Life of Wowie de Guzman After the Death of His Wife
WOWIE DE GUZMAN – The actor-dancer opened up about his life after the sudden death of his wife in 2014.
One of the actors who carved a great mark in the Philippine showbiz industry is actor-dancer Wowie de Guzman. His loveteam with actress Judy Ann Santos is surely one of those that many people won’t forget.
Wowie and Judy Ann worked together in several projects including the movies Muling Ibalik Ang Tamis ng Pag-ibig and Dito Sa Puso Ko. They also top-billed Kasal Kasalan.
In real-life, Wowie de Guzman married a non-showbiz woman, Sherryl Ann Reyes. They had a civil wedding ceremony and a church wedding.
In 2014, Wowie and Sherryl welcomed their daughter Raff. However, a month after it, a very heartbreaking incident in the life of the actor-dancer came.
Sherryl died. Reportedly, the cause was somehow in line with the conditions she felt when she was pregnant and as well as the birth-giving. The actor-dancer was left devastated after his wife’s sudden death.
Now, it’s been around four (4) years since the sudden death of the wife of Wowie de Guzman. Speaking to Pep, he opened up about his life now.
According to Wowie, he is not really visible on TV but a lot of work opportunities are coming his way. The actor-dancer is now a Zumba instructor not only in the Philippines but as well as abroad.
“Kakagaling ko lang ng Canada. Nagkaroon ako ng Zumba tour doon,” he said based on the report.
Wowie did not expect that a lot of opportunities will come to him. He credited the Universal Motion Dancers (UMD) as a really big help to him.
