Bavarian Region Confirms First Coronavirus Case in Germany
FIRST CORONAVIRUS CASE IN GERMANY – The Bavarian region in the southern part confirmed the 1st case of the novel coronavirus in the country.
The novel coronavirus continues to spread not only in China but even in other countries. It was in the later months of year 2019 when it hit Wuhan City in China.
It is suspected that bat soup served in a market in Wuhan caused the novel coronavirus. Now, the disease is rampant in the Chinese country infecting more than two (2) thousand people and leaving at least 80 dead as of this writing.
The novel coronavirus got signs that are similar to flu. An infected person may experience fever, shortness of breath, and cough. Currently, the Wuhan City is under a lock-down to prevent the spread of the highly-contagious disease.
However, even before the locking down of the Wuhan City where the first case of the novel coronavirus was recorded, several people have visited the place and flew to other countries. The outbreak has now reached other nations including the United States and France.
The France is the first European country to have recorded a case of the novel coronavirus. Recently, another case was recorded in another country in the European region.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the authorities in the Bavarian region confirmed the first coronavirus case in Germany. According to the healthy ministry spokesperson, the patient is a man in the Stanberg region.
Furthermore, the authority expressed that the man is under observation in the isolation ward. He is in a “medically good state” as to the ministry.
No further details regarding the patient was yet to be released. More updates may be posted soon.
