Actor Stan Kirsch, known as Richie Ryan on the Highlander television series, died on Saturday, January 11 at his residence. He was 51 years old.
This, after Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed his passing based on their records. Based on their findings, actor Stan Kirsch was apparently “took his own life.”
A law enforcement source told ET that the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) responded to Kirsch’s house but he was pronounced dead inside his residence.
The official Facebook page of Highlander mourned Kirsch’s passing on Monday, January 13.
Adrian Paul also mourned Kirsch’s passing on Tuesday, January 14.
Stan Kirsch starred in Highlander television series from 1992-1997 and made an appearance in its finale episode. He also worked as an acting coach in Los Angeles and founded Stan Kirsch Studios.
He was survived by his wife, actress Kristyn Green.
