Smith Twins Billy and Joe, the twin brothers who starred in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, were found dead in England last Saturday, December 28.
Paddy Doherty, a Celebrity Big Brother winner and also one of the stars in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, confirmed the news through his Facebook video. According to him, the Smith Twins Billy and Joe were “two twin boys, two good looking boys” who had a “terrible, terrible tragedy” as the twin brothers apparently took their own lives. Doherty prayed that the parents of the twin brothers will “be strong and get through this.”
Meanwhile, Kristina Davey, partner of Billy Smith, mourned the passing of her partner through her social media account. She said that the tragedy made her the “hardest day” of her life.
Billy and Joe Smith starred in the third season of My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, which was first aired on the U.K.’s Channel 4 in 2010.
