Authorities Arrest Former Actress Jenny Roa on Christmas Day

The drug war in the Philippines continues. The authorities are still in search for the suspects and determined to work on arresting these personalities. It is one of the campaign promises of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Things continue even on Christmas Day. Yesterday, a lot of people celebrated Christmas. Families and friends gathered over food, gift-giving activities, music, and many other things in a party. It was a holiday that gave full opportunity for some people to bond with their loved ones.
However, not everyone is at the comfort of their house on Christmas Day. Some remain on the pursuit of fulfilling their jobs and service the people. Among them are the members of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) of the Pasay City Police.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, on Christmas Day, the said authorities arrested former actress Jenny Roa in a drug buy-bust operation. She is Jennifer Kiilsgaard in real-life.
Pasay City Police Station DEU Police Cpl. Jett Morillo expressed that aside from the former actress, a certain Norman Viña was also arrested. The 45-year-old former actress admitted to using the illegal substance but not into selling it.
Also, according to Jenny, she is allegedly using it for her depression. Based on the report, she stressed that she is always at home and that she wants to change.
“I’m always in the house. I stay in the room. It so happened, hindi ko alam nataon pa ng Pasko ko…Paayos na buhay ko, bagong buhay na ako, ewan ko ba,” she said.
