Hidilyn Diaz and Julius Naranjo are officially married.
HIDILYN DIAZ AND JULIUS NARANJO — The Olympic gold medalist and her coach got married in Baguio last July 26.
The two tied the knot on the first anniversary of Hidilyn winning the Olympic gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Olympic gold medalist took to social media to share a message about their wedding day. In the caption of her social media post, she said that July 26 is a memorable day for her and Julius.
Among those who congratulated the couple were Gretchen Ho, Liz Uy, Ryan Agoncillo, Marian Rivera, and Dra. Vicki Belo.
Julius, for his part, also shared a message on Instagram to celebrate the occasion.
“One year has passed since the historic Gold medal, here’s a recap of this historic moment. With what @hidilyndiaz and I accomplished last year, now it’s on to forever,” Julius wrote in the caption of his social media post.
A day after their wedding day, Hidilyn shared an evacuation selfie with her now-husband in Baguio.

Prior to their wedding, Julius shared a prenup video on his Instagram account along with a message about their journey.
In the caption of his Instagram post, he said that he and Hidilyn have been through a lot these last five years and he would be lying if he said that their journey was easy.
He added that one thing has been a constant — their ability to understand and support each other through thick & thin.
Hidilyn, for her part, shared the behind-the-scene footage of their prenup wedding in Baguio through her vlog. She shared on Instagram that she never thought that a pre-wedding shoot would be fun.
At that time, she said that she and Julius enjoyed running, smiling, and posting with the beautiful views of Atok, Baguio, and Stronghold gym.
