Still Unidentified Suspects Shot Barangay Chairman in Davao de Oro
BARANGAY CHAIRMAN – The chief of Barangay Kinuban in Davao de Oro was shot by still unidentified suspects on his way home.
Every day, several unfortunate incidents are taking place in the different parts of the Philippines. There are accidents on the road, conflicts between several individuals on the streets which sometimes lead to worse scenarios, and unforeseen situations that are seemingly planned by some people.
Sadly, some of these incidents left some individuals injured while the other unforeseen situations caused the death of other people. In both cases, the families of the victims are left calling for justice over what was done to their loved ones.
Currently, another family in Davao de Oro is seeking justice over what happened to the head of their household after he dropped his grandchild at school.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Elizalde Malcampo, the barangay chairman of Barangay Kinuban in Maco, Davao de Oro, was shot by still unidentified suspects in Barangay Andili in Mawab.
According to the testimony of the witnesses, the victim who was driving a motorcycle dropped his grandchild at Andili Elementary School. However, on his way home, men who were aboard a black XR motorcycle followed him.
Based on the report, the men who were aboard a motorcycle with no plate number went near the barangay chairman and shot him. He was rushed to Davao Regional Hospital but he died.
Currently, the police’s hot pursuit operation is ongoing to determine the individuals behind the crime. More updates may be posted soon.
