Video of Intense Commotion Between 2 Groups of Supporters in Lanao del Sur Circulates Online
The video footage of an intense commotion between two groups of supporters from different camps earned criticism online.
On Monday (May 9, 2022), the Commission of Elections (Comelec) held the 2022 national and local elections. Registered Filipino voters have visited their respective precincts to cast their votes.
However, some Filipinos have expressed their disappointment over alleged anomalies and irregularities during the 2022 elections. Chaos occurs in some precincts over some alleged cheating incidents.
Some voters have also experienced problems feeding their ballots to the vote-counting machines. Defective SD cards have also delayed some voters to cast their votes.
A Facebook user named Abu Ziyaad has shared the video footage of an intense commotion between two groups of supporters from different camps. The video is currently circulating online and garnered various reactions from social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that an intense commotion between two groups occurs at a school vicinity in Malabang, Lanao Del Sur. Gunshots can be also heard during the intense confrontation on election day.
The voters can be seen running back and forth amid the commotion inside the vicinity of Malabang National High School. The incident reportedly happened on May 9. Ziyaad said that the video was just sent to him via messenger.
