GERALD AND JULIA — Celebrity couple Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto will spend Christmas together with the Barretto family.
The actress will spend Christmas this year with her family, with her mother Marjorie cooking all the favorite dishes for her and her siblings.
This year, Julia’s boyfriend will spend Christmas Eve with the Barretto family for the first time. Julia and Gerald have been often seen together spending time with Julia’s family since they went public with their relationship in March this year.
“We are all going to be together. Of course, si Ge [Gerald Anderson] will be with us,” Barretto told ABS-CBN News. “Mommy will prepare all the dishes on Christmas Eve. On my end, presence ko na lang. I’ll finish the food. (Laughed) I will enjoy and I will rest.”
Julia had been preoccupied this year with projects that even buying her Christmas gifts was lovingly assigned to her mother. Although the actress had been living independently for the past 2 years now, Julia made it a point to enjoy the Christmas holidays with her family.

Julia wrapped up “Expensive Candy,” a coming-of-age film with actor Carlo Aquino, directed by Jason Paul Laxamana. She also finished a horror film directed by Brilliante Mendoza.
The actress maintained that she’s in a “good place” in her life now. According to her, she’s happy with the people that surrounded her and there’s just a lot of peace and calm within her.
Julia also learned to value her money more since she started living independently 2 years ago. She gained confidence living alone and being independent for the past two years.
Although she will probably have the same wish as most people, Julia still expressed her desire to hug the people she loved again.
“Everybody probably wishes the same, but sana, next year, mawala na ang pandemic. I just miss hugging everybody any time that I want to,” Julia said. “I just wish, sana hindi ako mapagod next year. Sana, I’ll stay as fired up and motivated to keep locking in. I want to be locked in and keep on working. That’s a good sign.”
To recall, Gerald shared that he planned to spend Christmas in General Santos City with his family.
