Here’s the message of Miss Bahrain Jess Deyani to some Filipino pageant fans bullying her
JESS DEYANI – The firs-ever representative of Bahrain in Miss Universe reacted to toxic Pinoy pageant fans bullying her.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing platform, Instagram wherein she posted a photo of herself alongside other candidates.
Joining her in the photo are Miss Universe Bolivia Nahemi Uequin, Miss Universe Chile Antonia Cristal Figueroa, and Miss Universe Czech Republic Karolina Kokesova.
It can be noticed in the photo that she wasn’t ready for the photo op. In fact, she wasn’t able to give a smile and pose like a beauty queen.
The photo which she posted was accompanied by rude comments from netizens, particularly Filipino pageant fans.

On the other hand, there were also those who defended her.
Despite the rude comments thrown at her, Jess did not resent at the “bullies” from the Philippines.
She said she has no other desire but to give representation to all types of women.
Even though she was told hurtful words, she still managed to speak Tagalog and say that she loved her “kabayans!”
This is not the first time that a Miss Universe representative received negative comments from some Pinoy pageant fans.
Last year, Miss Universe Canada 2020 Nova Stevens took to social media wherein she reacted to racist comments she received from some Filipino pageant fans.
Meanwhile, according to thenationalnews.com of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Jess is the first to represent Bahrain in Miss Universe.
She was chosen to represent her country last November 29.
According to her, although she could be the shortest candidate in the history of Miss Universe, she will stand tall to represent her home country.
