Showbiz veteran Cristy Fermin defends Bea Alonzo
CRISTY FERMIN – The showbiz veteran defended newest Kapuso star Bea Alonzo over rude comments from bashers.
Bea is one of the prized actresses in her generation. She is best known for her portrayals in the films One More Chance, Four Sisters and a Wedding, Eerie and to name a few.
Through the years, she has also bagged numerous awards including the title of Box Office Queen.
Last July, she decided to transfer to GMA Network after almost 20 years under ABS-CBN.
Her move saddened many but there were also people who are happy for her maybe because of the opportunities waiting in the line.
Earlier, the 34-year-old star has been named the 2022 calendar girl of the famous liquor brand, Tanduay.
While some are expressing their awe to the actress, there are those criticizing her.
This prompted showbiz veteran Cristy Fermin to defend her.
In her Cristy Ferminute program along with Romel Chika, the entertainment host defended the actress following comments from bashers.
“Ang sabi naman daw po ng kanyang mga bashers, kung kelan naman daw siya tumanda, saka naman daw siya nag burlesque. At sabi raw laylay ang balat, pero wala akong nakitang nakalaylay na balat,” Cristy said.
“Hindi po talaga naita yung mga dinidiin ng mga bashers na laylay na ang balat,” she added.

Bea Alonzo has yet to comment on criticisms swirled against her.
