Netizen to Korina Sanchez: “Pangpurga po ang Ivermectin.”
KORINA SANCHEZ – The veteran broadcaster reacted after being criticized for using ivermectin against COVID-19.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she announced that she’s now vaccinated at the same revealing she’s taking ivermectin.
Her post is accompanied by the caption: “Am certified vaccinated. But am not totally immune to infection. So I STILL wear a mask and stay away from crowds. I take my Vit C, D and zinc daily. I take ivermectin every two weeks. I still quarantine and take Covid tests before joining groups. The BEST of life is yet to come. Let’s all be around when that happens. 💚 #BestLife #ingatangatbakunalahat @BakunaSikat”
However, some were unhappy with her revelation about taking ivermectin.
A netizen commented: “Hello Ms Korina be responsible naman po sa pagpopost. Pangpurga po ang Ivermectin.”
To which she responded: “Yan ang sabi mo. Iba ang tingin ko.”
It was in April when the US Food ad Drug Administration disapprove of the use of ivermectin among humans to treat or prevent coronavirus.
US FDA said: “Ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses).”
