YG Entertainment confirmed BLACKPINK’s Lisa solo debut.
YG Entertainment had recently announced that South Korean pop girl group BLACKPINK’s lead dancer Lisa was confirmed to have a solo debut.
Last July 12, YG Entertainment said that Lisa will film the music video for her upcoming solo track “this week”, adding that she will be making her solo debut “this summer” as well.
Also, Korean media OSEN reported that Lisa was set to make her solo debut in the next few months.

It was last year when YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK members Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo would be releasing their solo tracks respectively, following the release of their first full album “THE ALBUM” last October 2020.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie was the first member to make her solo debut with the track “SOLO” last 2018.
Last March, Rosé debuted her first solo single album “R”, which featured the title track “On The Ground” and B-side track “Gone”. As per YG Entertainment’s announcement, Lisa’s solo release was scheduled next to Rosé.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK was set to release a movie next month as part of their fifth anniversary project titled “4+1 PROJECT”.
