It was on May 25 when she had a mild stroke and fortunately, it did not result in an impairment or whatsoever.

Later that day, she shared it with her husband Shintaro Valdes. The latter told her to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Four days after suffering from a mild stroke, she underwent an MRI. It turned out that 3 different areas of her brain were affected by the stroke.

The following day, she was admitted to a hospital for a series of tests.

The doctors found out that she has a patent foramen ovale (PFO), a hole in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth.

This caused turbulence in the blood flow in her heart which would have resulted from the clots that reached her brain.

Eventually, she underwent heart surgery that lasted for 40 minutes and it was successful.

At press time, she’s still recuperating.
