Xiaomi globally launched one of its latest Mi 11 series smartphones, the Mi 11 Ultra. Check out its specifications, price, and availability below.
It was last February when a Filipino YouTuber unboxed Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra after reaching 1,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
And yes, the said device went official after a month as Xiaomi on Monday globally launched Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra as one of the Mi 11 series smartphones along with Mi 11i and Mi 11 Lite.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun first introduced Mi 11 Ultra during the Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch in China. Aside from this, Lei Jun also introduced Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite during the said launch.
After the launch event in China, in which Lei Jun announced that Xiaomi will launch more products at 7:30 pm (19:30 GMT +8) later today, Xiaomi Senior Product Marketing Manager David Desjarlais globally introduced “The Director’s Cut” — the Mi 11 Ultra.
Technical Specifications
This smartphone has two color variants available: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.
For the smartphone’s display, this smartphone has WQHD+ 6.81-inch AMOLED Quad-curved DotDisplay with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, DisplayMate A+, SGS Eye Care Display Certification, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and TrueColor display.
It also has a rear 1.1-inch Touchable AMOLED always-on display that would also serve as a rear selfie preview.
For its performance, this smartphone has a 5nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, 12GB internal memory, 256GB internal storage, and 5,000mAh battery capacity.
In terms of its cameras, this smartphone has a 50MP Samsung GN2 wide angle main camera, 48MP Sony IMX586 ultra-wide angle camera, and 48MP Sony IMX586 telephoto camera that can support 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 120x digital zoom. It also has a 20MP in-display selfie camera as well.
This smartphone weighs 234 grams. Other technical specifications present in this smartphone include the MIUI 12 mobile operating system that was based on the Android 11 mobile operating system, In-screen fingerprint reader, AI face unlock, IR blaster, USB Type-C, and a lot more.
Price and Availability
In China, the price for this smartphone starts at CNY 5999. Xiaomi started accepting pre-orders for this smartphone in China and announced that it would go on sale starting April 2, 2021.
As for the global version of the said product, the price for this smartphone starts at EUR 1199.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that a new Mi MIX series smartphone and other Xiaomi products were expected to launch later this evening.
