Marco Alcaraz Tested Positive & Negative in COVID-19 Tests
MARCO ALCARAZ – The actor went through a 14-day quarantine amid conflicting results of his COVID-19 tests.
The situation in the Philippines has yet to return to normal as the threat of COVID-19 is still present. The pandemic brought a lot of changes in the different fields and the people’s way of living as a whole.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, whenever there is a project like a movie or a television series, the taping is held lock-in. It means the production staff, the actor and actresses, and everyone needed in the shooting will stay in the venue during the taping.
Also, the people present during the taping are limited and everyone must observe the health protocols. COVID-19 tests are also conducted.
One of the stars who recently attended a lock-in taping is actor Marco Alcaraz. However, based on his recent vlog, one of the people who were at the taping tested positive for COVID-19.
Everyone who was at the taping went through a swab test to be checked if they contracted the disease. Marco admitted they were quite nervous then upon knowing that one of them got exposed to the virus.
According to him, they were isolated for five (5) days before the swab test was done. Unfortunately, the actor tested positive for the disease. However, it left him questions as he had a roommate and his roommate tested negative.
“Diba kwento nga nila mag-usap lang kayo ng 15 minutes nang walang mask, exposed ka na,” the actor expressed.
Marco Alcaraz expressed that it happened to some of their companions too wherein two people shared a room and one tested positive for COVID-19 while the other person tested negative.
Because he tested positive for COVID-19, Marco quarantined. He also tested for COVID-19 saliva test and the result was negative. According to him, after two (2) days he went through an antigen test and the result was still negative.
Amid his conflicting COVID-19 test results, Marco Alcaraz decided to complete his 14-day quarantine for the safety of his family and everyone. Here’s his vlog:
