A tipster claimed that Google might launch Pixel “Fold”

A tipster recently took to social media claiming that Google might launch its upcoming Pixel “Fold” smartphone.

In a report on Gizguide, Google may allegedly release their own foldable Pixel phone and it could arrive late this year or early next year.

Currently, Huawei and Samsung competed in the foldable smartphone market and both tech giants made futuristic foldable smartphones that were able to wow users.

With this, Apple was rumored to make its own foldable iPhone. As previously reported on Bloomberg, Apple was developing a new iPhone model that can be folded, adding that the said version was expected to compete with similar Samsung devices.

Recently, Patently Apple reported that Google was making their own foldable Pixel phone as well in order to compete in the foldable smartphone category.

Citing Google Patent published by the United States Patent Office, Patently Apple revealed that Google was working on a “Future Foldable Pixel Phone“.

Aside from this, tipster Jon Prosser recently tweeted that the Google Pixel “Fold” was “a real thing”. When asked about the possible release date, Jon simply said “late this year / early next year”.
