A family representative said that Don Imus died at College Station in Texas after being hospitalized on Christmas eve.
Mike Francesa, a longtime New York sports radio host and WFAN colleague, shared his thoughts on Imus’ passing through his tweet. He said that he was shocked when he knew about the passing of his friend. He added that Imus “will long be remembered” as a radio personality.
