As the year 2020 was about to end, Google Philippines had officially unveiled this year’s Year in Search.
Google had recently revealed the list of top 10 searches based on the overall trending searches, news category, and “How To” category.
The overall trending searches include this year’s US elections, NBA updates on scores and schedule, coronavirus, Taal Volcano, and ReliefAgad site.
Here is the list of top 10 overall trending searches for this year:

For the news category, “US election 2020”, “coronavirus”, and “Taal Volcano” topped the list for this year. North Korea President Kim Jong Un and US President-elect Joe Biden were also included in the said list.

Math tutorials also made it to this year’s list as a lot of people tend to know “how to divide fractions” and “how to solve quadratic equation”.
