Gwen Garci Thrilled as Viva Hot Babes Get Invites to Perform Abroad

Group confirmed for a Dubai show in January 2027 after its ‘Bulaklak’ reunion concert

Actress Gwen Garci could not hide her excitement after Viva Hot Babes received invitations to perform overseas following the group’s reunion concert, she shared in an interview published on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

The group is confirmed to fly to Dubai, UAE for a show in January 2027, while talks are ongoing to bring the reunion show to Australia and other countries. The invitations came after their concert “Bulaklak” at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on October 23.

“Sobrang saya, of course! We’re really thankful kasi hindi namin in-expect na after all these years, may mga gusto pa ring manood sa amin, even abroad,” Gwen said.

“We worked so hard for this comeback, and we just want the chance to share that happiness with our fellow Filipinos abroad. It’s another blessing that we’re praying for,” she added. “Imagine, at our age, we’re still being given opportunities like this. Ang saya lang!”

“Imagine, after more than 20 years, nandiyan pa rin ang fans namin. We’re really thankful, and hopefully, this is just the beginning of more beautiful things for us,” the actress said.

Asked about her favorite moment from the concert, Gwen pointed to the group singing and dancing their hit “Bulaklak” together again. “These are the girls I practically grew up with, and those songs changed our lives,” she said. “Tapos nakita mo yung audience, halos lahat nakatayo, sumasayaw, naghihiyawan, at kumakanta with us! Grabe, nakakataba ng puso!”

She also laughed about a near-mishap during her solo number. “Actually, muntik na akong madulas during my solo tango performance kasi natapakan ko yung palda ng costume ko! Buti na lang naitawid ko!” Gwen recalled. “Siyempre, smile pa rin kahit kinakabahan na ako inside. The show must go on!”

The comeback also came with negative comments, which Gwen admitted hurt the group. “Of course, nasasaktan din kami. Tao lang din naman kami,” she said. “We don’t need to bring anyone down just to lift ourselves up. We just want to enjoy what we’ve worked so hard for and make our fans happy.”
