Sachzna Laparan Responds to Allegations About Her College Graduation
SACHZNA LAPARAN – The social media personality spoke out after facing accusations online that she allegedly bought her college diploma.
The issue started after she shared photos from her college graduation, which she described as one of the proudest moments of her life. In a Facebook post on March 14, she said she felt hurt after seeing articles and comments claiming that her diploma was not honestly earned.
Laparan explained that the accusations were unfair and upsetting. She said that the school she attended, Philippine Christian University, is known for supporting working students and individuals with busy schedules who still want to finish their studies. The university offers flexible programs that allow students to balance work and school while completing their degrees. Because of this, she believes that the claims are not only insulting to her but also disrespectful to the university and its programs.
She shared that finishing her degree required a lot of hard work, time, and dedication. For her, the negative comments made it seem as if her efforts did not matter, which is why she decided to address the issue publicly. Laparan also explained that she only posted about her graduation once because she already expected that not everyone would be happy about her achievement.
Despite the criticism, Laparan encouraged people to support and celebrate the success of others instead of bringing them down. She expressed hope that people could inspire one another, especially at a time when many challenges are happening in the Philippines.
The content creator completed a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). The program is designed for adults and working professionals, allowing them to earn a college degree by recognizing their work experience and previous learning while using a flexible study system.
