Vehicle Slams Into Matteo Guidicelli’s Restaurant
MATTEO GUIDICELLI – A vehicle crashed into the al fresco area of Da Gianni Cucina Italiana–Westgate Molito, a restaurant owned by the actor, TV host, and businessman and his family, on Sunday, February 8.
The incident happened in the afternoon and caused heavy damage to the outdoor dining section. Matteo later shared that it was fortunate no customers were hurt because all guests had already left by around 1:30 PM, leaving that part of the restaurant empty at the time of the accident. However, two staff members were inside the establishment, specifically near the pizza oven area, when the crash happened.
They were immediately brought to the hospital for medical checkups. Thankfully, they did not suffer serious injuries and are now safe and being cared for. According to him, the damage was limited to the exterior portion of the restaurant, particularly the al fresco section.

The indoor dining area remains open to customers, while the outdoor area has been temporarily closed to ensure everyone’s safety and to allow repairs to be completed. Matteo described the incident as an unexpected accident and expressed deep gratitude that the situation did not result in more harm.

He reminded the public to always stay alert wherever they are, emphasizing that awareness and prevention are important because unexpected situations can happen at any time. He encouraged people to be careful, prepared, and mindful of their surroundings.

Above all, he expressed strong faith and gratitude to God for keeping his team safe and protected during the incident, saying they remain healthy and able to move forward despite what happened. He also thanked everyone who sent prayers, concern, and support after hearing the news.

As of now, no details have been released about the driver or the cause of the crash, and it is still unclear whether any action will be taken regarding responsibility for the incident.
