SARA DUTERTE – Former Senator Antonio Trillanes claimed that a plunder case might be filed against the Vice President this week.

Vice Pres. Duterte claimed she’s not surprised by the possible filing of a fresh impeachment complaint against her by the House of Representatives. According to her, the Filipinos deserve better amid the government officials allegedly using the people’s fund for their own personal intentions.

The recent remarks of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte came after Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN) chairperson Teddy Casiño confirmed that they might refile an impeachment complaint against her once the ban is lifted. The Supreme Court previously ruled that the impeachment complaint against her is “unconstitutional”.

According to the high court, the impeachment court did not abide by the one-year rule ban stated in the Constitution. The Senate archived the impeachment rap against the Vice President following the ruling of the Supreme Court.
