Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Worried over Harry Roque after Court Ordered Cancellation of his PH Passport
HARRY ROQUE – Vice President Sara Duterte claimed that she is worried over her father’s former spokesman because he allegedly “has health problems”.
Roque was out from the public’s sight for several months prior to the arrest and the transfer of custody of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands. He hid after the House of Representatives ordered his arrest.
The House investigated Roque over his alleged involvement in the illegal operations of some Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators or POGOs. He denied the allegations and claimed that he is allegedly pressured because of his ties with the Dutertes. He previously claimed that he cannot forgive the Marcos administration for the distance between him and his family now.
Harry Roque is one of those who called for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos as he criticized his ability to lead the country. According to him, he should let Vice Pres. Sara Duterte take over. He also previously claimed that he will only return to the country on the first day after the term of Marcos Jr. will end.
Recently, a court in Pasig issued an order for the cancellation of the Philippine passport of Roque. He is currently an asylum seeker in The Hague, Netherlands, thus, he was previously confident that he cannot be deported as long as the application process is ongoing.
Following the order released by the Pasig court, Harry Roque called on the Filipinos to pray for him. He stressed that he is a person who is into prayers and he would not last long away from the country if not because of his faith. He also professed his solid ties with former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to whom he will stand by with until the end.
Recently, following the order released by the Pasig court to cancel the passport of Harry Roque, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte expressed concern on the former presidential spokesman of her father. Based on a post of News5 on social media, she claimed that he allegedly has health problems and she’s more worried about it.
“I am more concerned about former spokesperson Harry Roque more than his passport… He has health problems… That is the primary concern… I hope he gets well soon,” the Vice President said based on the post.
Roque also claimed that he was supposedly off to Vienna to process his asylum but he was allegedly not allowed by an airline to fly after seeing his medical passport stating that he is unfit to fly. He claimed that he allegedly had a major surgery last month and a minor one few days ago.
Recently, Roque vowed his loyalty to former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte despite the Interpol Red Notice against him.
