Sen. Tito Sotto Joins List of Senators Who Disclosed SALN
TITO SOTTO – The Senate President released his Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth or SALN that shows his net worth is over P188 million as of June 30, 2025.
Immediately after he took his oath as the new Ombudsman, Boying Remulla restored the public access to the SALN of the government officials. The office he leads now is the repository of the SALNs of the president, the vice president, the Constitutional commissions officials, and the local government officials.

The Office of the Ombudsman released a memorandum that reversed the circular that was implemented during the term of retired former Ombudsman Samuel Martires in 2020. Then, the consent of the owner of the SALN was needed in requesting for the document.

Now, the requester just have to present a valid ID. Following the move of Ombudsman Remulla, some senators disclosed their SALNs. Recently, Senate Pres. Tito Sotto released his SALN which showed his wealth as of June 30, 2025.
Based on the SALN of Sotto, his net worth is over P188 million as of June 30, 2025. He declared assets worth P465, 604,461.40. The real properties’ value are at P335, 171,748.25 while the personal properties’ value are at P130,432,713.15.

With regards to the liabilities of Senate Pres. Tito Sotto, based on the report, it is at P276,736,338.00 in bank loans/personal loans and other payables. His listed business interests are the TVJ Productions, Inc. and VST Production Specialists, Inc.
Based on the report, some family members of Sotto are his employees in his Senate office. The Senate President’s daughter, Romina Frances Sotto; his niece, Beverly Anne Sotto; his niece-in-law, Katherine Anne Roxas; and his grand niece, Atty. Valentin Jose Dominic Fregil, are employees in his office in the upper chamber.
Aside from Senate Pres. Tito Sotto, Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson also recently disclosed his SALN which showed that his net worth grew by nearly P200 million in just three (3) years.
