Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte Breaks Silence on Alleged “Welfare Check” on Former Pres. Duterte
PAOLO DUTERTE – The son of former President Rodrigo Duterte claimed that “Trililing” was allegedly sent by the Philippine government for the “welfare check” of his father.
The International Criminal Court has yet to decide on the application of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for an interim release. Duterte’s camp recently said they are ready to accept any condition for the interim release of the former President. British-Israeli lawyer Nicholas Kaufman previously claimed that the former President is allegedly suffering from a ‘cognitive impairment’.
According to Kaufman, Duterte is allegedly unable to remember places, events, and even members of his family. The lawyers asked the ICC to adjourn all legal proceedings over his client’s case indefinitely. Despite the postponement of the confirmation of charges hearing, the court revealed that the ICC prosecutor has filed three (3) counts of murder “as crimes against humanity” against the former President.
Amid the continued detention of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte warned the ICC and the Philippine government to answer if her father dies of alleged “fake welfare checks”. According to the Vice President, the Philippine Embassy officials allegedly entered the ICC detention center and told the court that they will conduct a welfare check on the former President.
Vice Pres. Duterte further claimed that her father was interviewed and a report was allegedly sent to Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Recently, Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte broke his silence on the alleged “fake welfare check” on former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte by the officials of the Philippine Embassy.
Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte claimed that “Trililing” was allegedly the one sent by the Philippine government for the supposed “welfare check” of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Based on a post on News5, the son of the former President did not state who is “Trililing” but posted a photo of former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV outside the ICC detention facility.
“Si Trililing pala ang pinadala ng mga BANGAG para mag welfare check kay PRRD??Baka magkalat ka ng virus mo dyan at di ka pa naman na inject ng anti rabies shot mo , Oo nga pala strict ang Netherlands siguradong dinaan ka muna sa Quarantine ng mga hayop! Kasama mo rin ba ang TUTA mong si Lascañas,” the younger Duterte said.
In his own post on social media, Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte told “Trililing” that he allegedly has nothing to worry as he will have his own jail and he just have to wait for it. The Davao Congressman also advised him to return to the Philippines and face the charges against him.
Recently, following the “welfare check” claims, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte was allegedly found unconscious in the floor of his ICC detention room.
