Cristy Fermin Speaks Up on the Issue with Vice Ganda and MC
CRISTY FERMIN – The well-known showbiz columnist responded to a remark made by Vice Ganda during the “Super Divas” concert.
While talking to the audience, Vice saw his friends Lassy and MC Muah watching the show. He jokingly asked why they were there, saying that Cristy Fermin might get mad. Vice added that people might think they are no longer in conflict, which could take away topics for others to talk about.
In the August 11 episode of her program “Cristy Ferminute,” Fermin denied claims that she makes up stories. She said their reports are based on real information and not fabricated. She addressed MC directly, saying they only read what was already reported and did not create any false stories. She also told them not to cause trouble and not to use her name for personal gain.
“Anong content? Ano? Inimbento namin ‘yong kuwento? Hindi kami nag-iimbento ng kuwento. May binasa kami. Alam mo ‘yan, MC!” she said. “Naku, ha! ‘Wag na kayong mag-utuan. At ‘wag n’yo kaming gamitin,” she added.
The issue between MC and Vice began in an episode of Vice’s vlog last May. In that vlog, Vice confronted MC during a vacation in Palawan, accusing him of not being considerate in their group. The scene became emotional, with MC ending up in tears.
A few days later, Cristy Fermin reacted to the vlog. She said she was deeply affected by MC’s crying and visible sadness. She expressed that seeing MC in that state touched her as a viewer and as someone who values friendship.
Meanwhile, Cristy Fermin is a veteran showbiz columnist, radio and TV host, and entertainment personality. She is best known for her straightforward and often controversial commentaries about celebrities and showbiz issues.
