Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Gives Message on Blood Donor’s Month
SARA DUTERTE – This National Blood Donor’s Month, the Vice President called on the Filipinos to help save lives by donating blood.
The month of July is not only a National Disaster Resilience Month but also a National Blood Donor’s Month. While Vice Pres. Duterte spoke on the tree planting campaign of her office in line with the celebration for the country’s efforts to prepare against the impacts of the natural calamities, the second-highest official in the government also recently called for blood donations.

Through a video message posted on social media, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte called on the Filipinos to donate blood and help save lives. According to her, this month reminds us of the value of blood donations. She stressed that the Department of Health (DOH) and the Philippine Red Cross are working together to ensure the steady and safe supply of blood wherever it is needed.

“Mag-donate ng dugo sa alin mang blood bank o center ng Philippine Red Cross (PRC) sa buong bansa o pumunta sa mga blood letting activities sa inyong komunidad,” the Vice President said.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also said that extending uncontaminated blood does not only help many Filipino patients who are in need of it but it also gives hope to many individuals and families around the world who are facing different health problems.
Through her video message posted on social media, Vice Pres. Duterte encouraged the Filipinos to go to the nearest blood donation center and donate blood and join in giving hope and saving lives. The Vice President further called on the people to be part of such noble cause.

Aside from the message of Duterte for the Filipinos in line with the celebration of the National Blood Donor’s Month, through another post, the OVP also has the Kalusugan Food Truck amid the onslaught of the rainy season in the country. The Vice President expressed her gratitude to the “frontline responders” for the immediate help to the flood victims in Barangay Manresa, Quezon City.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte recently claimed that she sees no successful projects of the Marcos administration. According to her, the Chief Executive is allegedly full of politics. It is no secret to the public that she has an ongoing rift with the President and it has become evident to the public since she resigned from being the education secretary in 2024.
Amid the issues between them, Vice Pres. Duterte previously claimed that she has no ill feelings with Pres. Marcos. Instead, she claimed that she has a problem with his performance as the leader of the country. Her office also informed the House Secretary General’s office ahead that she will skip the 4th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the President.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is “not a weak leader”. It is contrary to the previous tirade of her father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, against her running mate in the 2022 polls.
