COCO MARTIN – The actor opened up about his relationship with Julia Montes, saying he is happy and content with how things are going between them.
During the 53rd Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment Awards, Coco shared that what keeps their bond strong is simple: mutual respect, love, care, and a peaceful life away from the spotlight.
According to Coco, the challenges and rumors they faced in the past actually strengthened their relationship. “Sabi ko nga, maraming intriga noong araw, pero yun din ang nagpatibay sa amin, e,” he said. He believes their relationship is deeply personal, which is why they prefer to keep it private. Still, he expressed gratitude to everyone who understood and supported them through the years.
When asked if jealousy has ever caused issues between them, Coco confidently said no. “Wala, walang ganun. Di nga namin halos nadaanan,” he said with a smile. For him, respect is the most important foundation of a strong relationship.
Although Coco typically keeps his private life low-key, his heartfelt words showed just how much he values Julia and their connection. Their love story, quietly built over the years, proves that meaningful relationships don’t have to be public to be real.

Their closeness began around 2012 when they starred together in the hit ABS-CBN teleserye Walang Hanggan, where they played love interests. Their on-screen chemistry sparked dating rumors, which intensified around 2013–2014 as they were often seen together off-camera. However, both Coco and Julia remained silent at the time.
In 2018, Julia took an unexpected break from showbiz and went to Germany, which further fueled speculations—including rumors of a possible pregnancy involving Coco.
