Ex-PBB Housemates Now Certified Dentists
JOLI ALFEREZ AND GWEN MONTANO – These two former Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 housemates are now officially licensed dentists after passing the May–June 2025 Dentists Licensure Exam. The results were released on June 11, and both proudly shared the exciting news on their Instagram pages.
Joli, known on the show as “Ang Smiling Darling ng Camarines Sur,” stepped away from the spotlight after PBB to fully focus on her dental studies. In her heartfelt post, she shared that she used to doubt herself and was even a bit of a troublemaker growing up. But with the unwavering support of her loved ones, she pushed through. Balancing her PBB commitments—rehearsals, mall shows, and tapings—while preparing for the board exam wasn’t easy. She admitted to breaking down and almost giving up, but her faith and the support of the right people helped her keep going.
Gwen, known as “Ang Brave Bromantiko ng Cavite,” also expressed how proud and grateful she was. “Before PBB, I was a dental student. Now I am a licensed dentist,” she posted. She described her journey as emotional—full of ups and downs—but said her confidence came from the hard work she put in. Quoting Kobe Bryant, she said true confidence comes from knowing you’ve done everything you can to prepare. Gwen emphasized that her success wasn’t solely due to her own efforts—she believes it was all part of God’s plan for her life.
