The total number of coronavirus cases in the Philippines already reached 265,888 with over 4,600 newly-reported cases, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. today, September 14, 2020.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #184 dated September 14, 2020, the Department of Health reported 4,699 newly-reported COVID-19 cases, which brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 265,888.
Since Friday, the Department of Health didn’t report the number of operational laboratories who successfully submitted their data to the COVID-19 Data Repository System as well as the total number of operational laboratories.
However, the Department of Health on Monday reported that 15 operational laboratories failed to submit their data to the CDRS.
Moreover, 4,090 out of 4,699 newly-reported cases occurred within the recent 14 days — from September 01 to 14.

The Department of Health also reported 53,754 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #184 dated September 14, 2020.
Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of September 14 only: Metro Manila with 1,498 new cases, Cavite with 221 new cases, Bataan with 198 new cases, Bulacan with 185 new cases, and Batangas with 176 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 249 newly-reported recoveries and 259 newly-reported fatalities. This brought the total number of recoveries to 207,504 and total coronavirus deaths to 4,630.
