Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Shares Conversation w/ Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President believes that more than two (2) senatorial candidates who are their allies have “realistic” chance of winning.
The children of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte campaign fervently for the PDP-Laban bets or the #Duter10. Aside from the candidates of the PDP-Laban for senator, Vice Pres. Duterte also endorsed the senatorial bid of Senator Imee Marcos and Las Piñas district representative Camille Villar.
According to Vice Pres. Duterte, her senatorial bets share a common ground of a peaceful and prosperous Philippines. The Vice President also called on the Filipino people not to vote for the candidates of Pres. Bongbong Marcos. The two (2) highest-officials in the government are having a rift that became visible to the public since she left the Marcos cabinet.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte previously revealed that it was really the request of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to campaign for his PDP-Laban bets. Here are the #Duter10:

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte shared her conversation with former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte over the chances of the senatorial candidates who are their allies to win. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Vice President revealed that she told her father that “more than two” of their allies who are running for senator have a “realistic” chance of winning.
“Hindi ko na lang ishare sa inyo baka kasi sabihin ninyo masyado naman ako overconfident pero the number I gave him is more than two,” she said.
The conversation of the Vice President and her father happened over the phone. Previously, she revealed that she really told him to call her every day. Based on the report, with regards to her belief that more than two (2) of their allies who are running for senator are likely to win the elections, the Vice President said she based it on the national surveys and those surveys commissioned by the local candidates.
Based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte did not challenge her estimates. Instead, the former President told her they should leave the matter to the will of God. According to her, her father asked her to focus on his case before the International Criminal Court (ICC) now that the 2025 Midterm Elections is over.
“Sinabi ko naman sa kaniya na gagawin ko yun pero mayroon lang kaming mga projects na kailangan gawin sa Office of the Vice President,” the younger Duterte said.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s youngest daughter also joined the campaign for his PDP-Laban bets. In one of the campaign sorties, Kitty Duterte gave a heartfelt message for former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte whom she calls her “Dada Rudy”.
