Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Wears Black as she Votes for 2025 Elections

SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President, wearing a black polo shirt, voted in Davao City past 8:00 a.m. today for the May 2025 Elections.

Today is an important day for the Filipino people as we once again exercise our right to suffrage. Both local and national elections are being held. Several government officials have also cast their votes.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who campaigned for Senator Imee Marcos, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP-Laban bets has cast her votes in Davao City. Based on a report on GMA News, the Vice President was wearing a black polo shirt as she voted.

Vice Pres. Duterte voted at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS) in Barangay Matina Crossing. Based on the report, it was past 8:00 a.m. when the Vice President casted her vote inside the  cluster precinct number 352. The list of voters at DRANHS also include her father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

However, the elder Duterte is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The former President is faced with an allegation of crimes against humanity due to his administration’s war on drugs.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is running for mayor in Davao City. His running mate is his youngest son, outgoing Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte. Amid his detention, the former President has requested his children to campaign fervently for the senatorial bets of his political party, the PDP-Laban. Here are the #Duter10 candidates:

Vice Pres. Duterte campaigned for the #Duter10 in the different local campaign sorties she joined. According to her, the PDP-Laban bets, Sen. Marcos, and Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar share a common vision of a peaceful and prosperous country.

In one of the campaign events of the PDP-Laban, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that the Filipinos chose the “wrong leader” and the “Alyansa” is allegedly ready to bring us back to darkness.
