Male Netizen Plays Clever Prank to Rude Customer
A male netizen got back at a rude female customer inside a popular convenience store by pulling off a clever prank.
Recently, HyunWooshiii, a Reddit user, shared his encounter with a rude female customer at a 7-Eleven store. The post quickly circulated on social media and elicited comments from the online community.
Exhausted from work and craving a quick meal before heading home, he decided to buy three pieces of siopao. As he was about to pick his food, a couple arrived and stood behind him, apparently impatient.
He overheard the woman complaining loudly, saying it seemed like he planned to take all the siopao. Annoyed by the rude comment, especially since he was the only one getting food at the time, he chose to quietly get even in a humorous way.
While the couple walked away to grab drinks, the man switched the “not yet cooked” sign to the section that actually had ready-to-eat siopao, and removed the sign from the uncooked batch.
The male netizen then paid for his food and watched from a distance as the couple unknowingly picked the uncooked buns. The same woman who had complained earlier suddenly cut in line ahead of him, saying he was too slow.
But instead of reacting, he let her go ahead, thinking to himself that at least he’d be eating warm, cooked food. After paying, he returned the sign to its proper place to avoid causing problems for others.
He ended the post by saying his stress felt lighter after the small prank and found himself laughing while enjoying his properly cooked siopao at home.

“So eto na nga, galing akong work na super pagod at nag overtime pa kaya naisipan kong bumili nalang ng siopao sa 7/11 para diretsong ligo then tulog nalang pag uwi sa bahay para maaga rin makapagrest. E di tatlong siopao yung kukunin ko sana nung biglang may dumating na magjowa tapos pumila sa likod ko kukuha rin ng siopao. Narining ko yung babae na nagsabing “antagal ha baka balak pang kunin lahat apaka patay gutom na pag ganon” e di tumingin ako kung ako ba yung sinabihan ng ganon e wala naman ng ibang kumukuha kundi ako lang tsaka kararating lang nila reklamo agad? E di umalis muna sila kasi sabi nung lalaki kuha daw muna drinks balikan nalang daw yung siopao.
Sa sobrang inis ko nilipat ko yung sign na “di pa luto” dun sa part na pinagkunan ko (which is luto na) habang yung mga totoong di pa luto yung wala ng sign. Pumunta ako sa pila para magbayad at pasimple kong tinignan yung dalawa nung bumalik para kumuha ng siopao upang masiguradong di luto yung nakuha nila. Sumakses nga ang plano ng ea na ituuu. Nung ako na magbabayad gulat ako kasi bigla akong siningitan nung babae sabay sabing “babagal bagal” e di kako sa isip go lang mauna ka na magbayad at least yung siopao ko kakainin kong luto. So nung nakabayad na ako binalik ko rin sa dati yung sign para wala ng mabiktima na iba. Parang nabawasan yung pagod ko nung time na yon tawa pa ko ng tawa habang kinakain ko yung siopao ko.”
