SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President confirmed that she will appear at the probe of the DOJ over her “kill” remark against Pres. Bongbong Marcos.

The gap between the Dutertes and Pres. Bongbong Marcos was even more solidified by the recent arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte previously warned Pres. Bongbong Marcos that they will fight back following his father’s arrest. Amid the issue, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Sen. Imee Marcos remained friends and the presidential sister visibly sides with the Dutertes.

Previously, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has issued a subpoena to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte over her “kill” remarks against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. According to the Vice President, she’s allegedly ordered someone to eradicate the President, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos if a supposed plot against her succeeds.

The NBI ordered Duterte to appear for the investigation but she skipped the probe. Recently, the Vice President confirmed that she received summons from the Office of the Prosecutor over the case filed against her by the NBI. The office confirmed the statement of the Vice President.

Sara Duterte confirmed that she will appear in the preliminary investigation of the Department of Justice (DOJ) over the complaint filed against her by the NBI. According to the Vice President, she and her lawyer have already talked and they are just finishing the counter-affidavit.

“Nagkausap na kami ng aking abogado with regard to sa counter-affidavit, tinatapos na lang namin. Mag-appear ako dahil kailangan ko mag-oath,” the Vice President said.

Based on the report, Prosecutor General Richard Fadullon who previously confirmed the statement of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte over the summons said the preliminary investigation on the complaint was scheduled on May 9 and 16.
